Talk about speed, security and visibility in answer engines is worth as much as the numbers behind it. Here is a real, measured before and after, from a project of ours: the mswriter.eu website.

The short picture: the site was on WordPress, slow, with security gaps and effectively invisible to answer engines. We rebuilt it on a modern static stack (Astro) and the overall grade went from F (35/100) to A (100/100). All measurements come from MS-Tools, our own diagnostics platform.

The starting point: grade F

On mobile the page loaded with an LCP of 10.4 seconds and an FCP of 9.8 seconds, times that drive visitors away before they even see the content. Security headers were 1 out of 7 (grade F), with the WordPress version and user list exposed. And the critical part for GEO: H1, sitemap.xml, llms.txt and structured data (JSON-LD) were all missing. In other words, answer engines struggled to read and trust the page.

What we did

We rebuilt the site from WordPress onto a modern static stack (Astro), working three fronts at once: performance, security and readiness for answer engines. We added structured data, a sitemap, llms.txt and a proper heading structure, closed the security gaps and fixed the broken links.

The result

MetricBeforeAfter
Overall gradeF (35)A (100)
Performance (mobile)5599
Performance (desktop)96100

Best Practices96100

Ten issues were fixed in total, no metric got worse, and no new problem appeared.

Why it matters for GEO

Speed and security keep visitors. But the pieces we added, structured data, llms.txt, sitemap and a clean H1 structure, are exactly what make a website readable and trustworthy for answer engines. A site that was practically invisible to them now has the foundations to be recognized and cited.

How we measured it

All the numbers above come from MS-Tools, our own diagnostics platform, which keeps a before and after comparison per metric and produces a branded report. These are not estimates, they are measurements.
