Another real, measured before and after from a project of ours: the tech-hom.gr website, a pool construction and maintenance business. The overall grade went from D (40/100) to A (90/100), with substantial improvement in performance, security and readiness for answer engines. All measurements come from MS-Tools, our own diagnostics platform.

The starting point: grade D

On mobile the page loaded with an LCP of 7.4 seconds and an FCP of 5.3 seconds, times that wear the visitor down. There were four broken links, security headers were 1 out of 7 (grade F), and the meta description was far too long. Critical for GEO: sitemap.xml, llms.txt and structured data (JSON-LD) were missing, while local targeting was incomplete.

What we did

We undertook the upgrade of the site, working three fronts at once: performance, security and readiness for answer engines. We added structured data, a sitemap and llms.txt, fixed the meta description and the broken links, enabled caching and security headers, and strengthened local targeting.

The result

MetricBeforeAfter
Overall gradeD (40)A (90)

Eleven issues were fixed in total, with big jumps in speed, accessibility and security.

Why it matters for GEO

The pieces we added, structured data, llms.txt and a sitemap, are exactly what make a website readable and trustworthy for answer engines. Together with the strengthened local targeting, the site now has far stronger foundations to be recognized and recommended.

How we measured it

All the numbers above come from MS-Tools, our own diagnostics platform, which keeps a before and after comparison per metric and produces a branded report. These are not estimates, they are measurements.
